Programs Offered La Jolla Preschool Academy offers a year round program serving ages 3 months through Pre-K. Check with a Director at the site of your choice for classroom size and age range as well as availability. In order to meet the diverse needs of families, we offer a variety of schedules. Both half and full day programs are offered two, three, and five days a week. (Infant Center is full day only.) The enrichment program ends at 12:00pm and those children continuing on have a rest period followed by the afternoon program. Summer Program

Preschool Program
Pre Kindergarten Program We are opening a new classroom especially designed for your child. This is for children who have missed the Kindergarten deadline or who just need one more year of preschool to prepare them for kindergarten. This is a "hands on" program with an accelerated Pre-K curriculum. Comprehensive Writing, Math, Critical Thinking, Problem Solving, Manipulatives, Individual Learning, Music, Phonics and Science. Class size is limited to 12 children.

We
offer our "Summer Fun" program from mid June to the
end of August. Our themes change each week, which include fieldtrips
and many summer visitors throughout the summer. Water play is
offreed during the summer months with emphasis on outdoor fun.

This
program serves children 3 months to 24 months of age. We emphasize
individual care in a nurturing environment.Parents provide diapers,
bottles and lunches. We focus on social interaction through
group play and guided adult interaction.
This
program serves children 2 years to 5 years of age. Potty training
is available in the younger classes for those children showing
signs of readiness. Our preschool programs emphasize kindergarten
readiness through developmentally appropriate curriculum allowing
children to develop at their own pace. The classes are grouped
by social and developmental levels. Each child is placed in
the group that will best meet his or her needs. The preschool
program is structured to ease a child from a home environment
to a school environment.
